My volunteer work has covered various areas, and was mainly present in my experience in scouting, both as a participant and as a leader. As a participant, I would assist in helping with riverside & roadside cleanups collecting trash, leading presentations on the Inclusion of STEM in scouting, and assisting in youth-led Area council meetings and affairs in shaping the future of scouting in Southern Alberta. Moving to Kamloops for university, I became involved with local scouting groups here as a leader, helping lead youth events and giving them the opportunity to enjoy scouting and participate in weekly meetings, as well as a camp to E. C. Manning park in 2018.
My volunteer experience was also involved with my local church in Calgary, where I would assist with youth ministry events, helping run activities, prepare food, and assist in establishing group-led discussions. This transitioned with me to university, where I am an active leader of the TRU Student Union Catholic Student Society, for the promotion of the Catholic faith on campus and allowing Catholic students a space to participate in weekly meetings and discourses.
